Overview
The GWO Single Person Advanced Rescue (Nacelle) enables learners to perform single rescuer descending advanced rescue operations, from a WTG hub, spinner and blade to an assembly area. This is carried out using industry standard rescue equipment, methods and techniques, exceeding those of the GWO basic safety training, working at height module.
Awarding Body
The Global WindOrganisation (GWO) establishes and promotes standardized safety training courses to ensure the global wind energy industry's workforce is equipped with essential skills, fostering professionalism and safety through industry collaboration and ongoing enhancements.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of training, learners will be able to perform a single rescuer, descent rescue operations from a WTG hub, spinner and blade area, using industry standard rescue equipment.
