Overview
Learners will develop the skills and knowledge to perform entry-type casualty rescue operations in a wind turbine using industry standard rescue equipment, methods and techniques, exceeding the techniques delivered during the GWO working at height course.
They will perform rescue operations within a wind turbine environment, utilising these techniques from a nacelle, tower and basement area.

Learning Outcomes
- Perform rescue operations in a wind turbine nacelle, tower and basement area, using industry standard rescue equipment, methods and techniques.
- Utilise safe and suitable (certified or structural) anchor points, lifting angles, deviation, and edge protection forthe rescue equipment.
- Perform rescue operations as a rescuer and as a coordinator applying clear communication and recognising hazards (mitigating as appropriate).
