Objective

Attend the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm to carry out remedial repairs of marine grade coatings:

The primary work scope was to carry out touch up painting repairs on the damaged areas caused during lifting of the sub structures.

This included padeye recoating, grating repairs, handrail repairs according to pre-determined snagging list.

Solution

Operations division mobilised multiskilled technicians including Platers, Riggers, Inspectors and painters most of whom were trained internally at our Inverness based training facility.

The OWF was fully operational in 2021 and because of the successful work carried out previously, we were selected to carry out further remedial works on the OWF including installation of bird scarers, crane tilt surveys and cleaning of guano.

Team included 6xL3 supervisor and 6x Level 1 and 2 Operatives to safely carry out this scope of work.
