The Global Wind Organisation (GWO) sets the international standard for safety training and emergency procedures in the wind industry.

GWO Basic Safety Training (BST)

All personnel in the wind industry are required to complete a minimum level of basic safety training which includes:

• GWO Working at Height

• GWO Manual Handling

• GWO First Aid

• GWO Fire Awareness

• GWO Sea Survival*

*Onshore personnel are not required to complete GWO Sea Survival training.

Our purpose built GWO BST training aids are constructed to ensure the delivery of our training has a focus on realism and practicality, whilst still being undertaken in a completely safe and controlled environment.

GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT)

The GWO BTT allows participants to perform basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and bolt tightening tasks which are applicable to Wind Turbines. It is a mandatory requirement across many wind sites internationally.
